This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with free WiFi. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The location is convenient, with a metro station right next to the hotel, making it easy to get to the city center and Mülheim railway station.

No improvement needed, everything was perfect!

Breakfast was inclusive, it was a full breakfast menu and they offered nice selections of varieties of food.

There were no air conditioner/heater in the room. We arrived in October and the temperature was in the upper 50's and we had to request for a portable heater for our room. They claimed to have internet, but we had a hard time connecting, the internet was not working, we had to the owner and he claimed will have them fixed after we leave. They overcharge the room rates for our trip because we went for a convention, they triple charge the price, if anyone travels during other times of the year and their rate went down three times, then this hotel would worth the price! Remember, no air condition and no heater.

This is a great hotel; I'm a bit surprised with Booked.net's low rating. The owners are very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable, location is right in front of Cologne's two very useful U-bahn lines.

The hotel had a great breakfast spread, with a wide range of options to choose from. The rooms were also very clean and well-maintained. the hotel was conveniently located near public transportation and within walking distance of some key attractions.

The Wi-Fi in the hotel was quite slow and not strong enough to support basic business needs such as video conferencing. Another downside was that the air conditioning in the rooms was not very effective, which made for some difficult nights during warmer weather.

the hotel is pretty much near everything that you could need as it is 2 minutes from the rail station, 2 minutes from most shops and a 5 minute train ride away from the main centre.

can get noisy at night with it being in close proximity to the road and as it was hot during our stay, the hotel does get quite hot and could do with air conditioning.

Friendly staffs, good location (within 3 min walk from the subway station, 10 min from the station to the city center), clean room, fridge.

Private parking was already full. But it was not a problem because public parking near the hotel was available for 3 euro/day.

According to the hotel-description all room have whireless internet - but whireless-internet was only in a conference-room. The Manager didn't know when to stop talking.

The price for this hotel was a steal, especially compared to the fancy downtown options. The value for money was excellent, costing only a fraction of what my teammates paid. The location was perfect, with easy access to downtown and the Mülheim railway station, making it convenient to explore the city and also for direct trains to the airport.

Everything was more than satisfactory.

I loved this hotel! Removed from the hubbub of right downtown, it was only 4 stops on the 'U,' taking 5 mins to get to the Dom. Talking with others who were there for the same event, I was paying 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of their chain hotels downtown. The owners were on site much of the time, and were a delight, to say the least. Clean rooms, and breakfast had everything you could want (all included). Free WiFi was an added benefit, upgrade coming to have in all rooms. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay here!

WiFi was sketchy in my 3rd floor room but it's being upgraded currently. Also would have loved a clock in my room, since I don't wear a watch.

Kaiser Am Wiener Platz is cheap, it is close to the subway, it is in Cologne, the breakfast is allright.

This is the noisiest hotel EVER. For some reason it seems as if sounds in the hallway and in the neighbouring rooms are amplified. Another thing was that the cleaning ladies decided to set up camp in front of my room, early in the morning. Imagine having to listen to a loud, very boring conversation, while trying to sleep. The other thing is the temperature: No airco. The night I was staying there wasn't really hot, but the rooms were. I don't know how they do it. Opening the window is not an option if you're on the (busy) street side.

No air conditioning, They just have a fan in the room. It was really hot.
